**The Role**

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the **Project Coordinator** will support the activities of the consulting teams to drive operational excellence and project best practices. You will also play a key role in successfully delivering major national projects.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a broad range of experience in the following:

- Assisting with the preparation, monitoring and updating of project delivery documentation
- Project financial management and control, including but not limited to
- Earned Value Management
- Monitoring costs incurred against budget
- Financial tracking and reporting
- Variance analysis to identify project variances
- Assist Project Manager in issuing monthly invoices
- Preparing Purchase Orders and Intercompany Agreements
- Approving and tracking creditor invoices to be paid
- Development of project work breakdown structures
- Scheduling and updating project schedules to align with completed activities and deliverables.
- Project change management includes assisting Portfolio Managers and Project Managers with variations and updating relevant project documentation (e.g. schedules) as project scope changes
- Liaise with Project Teams in relation to mobilisation, logistics and document control processes
- Ensuring that the project file is up to date and meets the internal requirements
- Assisting the preparation of reports, tenders and other project documentation, including weekly and monthly reporting
- Assisting with procurement activities for projects to ensure that all suppliers are properly approved and engaged
- Attending and organising meetings as requested to take minutes, follow up actions and record their completion

**About you**

To succeed in this role, here's what we need:

- Typically 2+ Years' experience in project support/coordination experience
- Proven experience in assisting the delivery of projects
- Previous project support/coordination experience
- Good organisational and time management skills are essential
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Use of initiative and a ‘can do' attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- A confident decision maker with the ability to influence & manage up
- Intermediate to advanced skill level across Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Project desirable)
- Familiar with web-based document collaboration systems
- Intermediate to advanced general computing skills, ability to learn new programs
- Scheduling background
- Knowledge of travel and journey management plans and other administrative procedures.
- Experience working with global standards frameworks in a multi-site organisation.
- Work experience in consulting operations, quality management, process improvement, project management, or a related function.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with a desire to achieve best practice outcomes
