GexaCare is preparing to onboard a new NDIS participant with complex support needs, currently receiving 2:1 support in an SDA setting. We are seeking passionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our team in Fraser Rise.

We are building a dedicated team of 14 staff and are now accepting Expressions of Interest for those who want to work in a well-supported team, with consistent shifts in one stable location.

What We Offer:

- Immediate start with casual shifts available
- Opportunity for full-time and part-time roles after 3 months
- Fixed place of work - no travelling between locations
- Support from experienced team leaders and clinical oversight
- Regular supervision, professional development, and peer support
- Female support workers preferred (participant-specific request)
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working with individuals with complex behaviours
- Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
- Reliable, emotionally resilient, and calm under pressure
- Available for shift work across weekdays, weekends, and active nights
- Committed to participant rights, safety, and well-being

Mandatory Requirements:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Full Driver’s licence
- Manual Handling and Medication Administration training (preferred)
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or similar (or working toward)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
