We are currently seeking a Principal Sustainability Advisor to be a pivotal member of our growing and dynamic sustainability advisory team in Sydney, who will be empowered with leading the delivery of
leading-edge sustainability aspirations, concepts and services on some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the country.
You will be working on significant projects that shape the communities in which we live. Building connections across our networks of international experts, you will bring this knowledge to our clients and to their projects.
Role specific duties:
Undertake and/or review of technical sustainability modelling calculations and studies, including carbon emissions, energy use, water use and climate change risk assessments.
- Provide sustainability support to project teams in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Lead the successful integration and delivery of sustainability strategy, assessments and initiatives including ratings assessments (ISC and Green Star) for infrastructure projects.
- Preparation of technical reports required to facilitate project delivery to a high standard.
- Provide project coordination and management.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated advisory sector and across project teams.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including exemplar delivery of client services.
- Advising clients of leading-edge sustainability aspirations, concepts and services
- Undertake business development and proposal writing for cross-sector sustainability services

- The successful applicant will have:
A minimum eight years relevant industry experience in a consulting, construction, private industry or a government environment.
Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, sustainability, engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in working collaboratively as part of multi discipline teams to deliver sustainable outcomes on major infrastructure and built environment projects.
Experience in managing and co-ordinating sustainability teams and tasks to meet project objectives, timeframes and budgets.
Experience using sustainability rating tools such as Green Star and ISC and ideally holding accredited status with some of these organisations.
Ability to undertake and/or review carbon, water and energy modelling would be favourably considered.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with a client and team focus.
Ability to develop and deliver technical sustainability advice for internal and external clients.
