Multi award-winning civil contractor, seeking a Sustainability Advisor to join their team in Western Sydney.

**Your new company**
My client is a multi award-winning civil contractor, delivering major essential infrastructure across Australia. Due to a growing portfolio of work, they are seeking a Sustainability Advisor to join their team in Western Sydney.

**Your new role**
As a Sustainability Advisor, you will be is passionate about Environment, Sustainability and Cultural Heritage in construction, and will provide support to the National Environment and Sustainability Manager (NESM).

The role is primarily responsible for providing support to our Construction teams, ensuring our projects deliver positive environmental, sustainability and social outcomes and meet all our sustainability reporting requirements.
- Assist National Environment and Sustainability Manager (NESM) and Sustainability Lead with the development and implementation of corporate procedures, standards and specifications.
- Assist in sustainability audits and validations.
- Support the construction team during project start-up phase & delivery of Projects.
- Delivery of sustainability programmes and initiatives
- Support the NSEM and EMs in the coordination and implementation of Design and As-Built Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) v 1.2 sustainability rating

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s Degree in environmental engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
- 3-4 years’ experience on infrastructure civil or rail construction projects, specifically site experience.
- Experience in ISC v1.2 & 2.1
- IS Accredited Professional (ISAP) preferable
- Experience in implementing and managing Construction Environment and Sustainability Management Plans and procedures.
- Auditing exposure / training / qualifications highly regarded
- Experience managing and reporting processes under NGER desirable
- Current C-Class Driver’s License
