Our client is a locally owned business based in Coopers Plains, who produce, supply and install roller shutters, roller doors and other security products which are 3 times stronger than the industry standard

**We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant to join their team ASAP**
- Day shift 6.30am to 2.30pm plus OT
- Pay rate $38/hr - $45/hr negotiable on experience

You would be responsible for assisting with the installation of roller shutters and similar for security at both residential and commercial sites.

**This would be a varied role travelling anywhere from the Sunshine Coast, out to Gatton and down to Coffs Harbour**

Carpentry, trade assistant or electrical background is ideal but fabrication or anyone technically minded who can follow processes, would be capable of performing the role as training will be provided.

**To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following key criteria**:

- Experience working with various hand & power tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Display a high level of attention to detail
- Be proactive with a strong safety focus
- Have great communication skills
- Practice good housekeeping

Must be physically fit and not afraid of heights as working on ladders and able to work well in a small team to get the jobs done on time.

Need to be mechanically minded to deal with all the moving parts and motors, including manual winders etc.

**Installation knowledge would be considered highly advantageous but not essential so long as you're self sufficient and good on tools**

Must take pride in your work and respect peoples' property as will be client facing.
