Aspect Personnel are currently working with a council in Melbourne's Western Suburbs to recruit a Project Scheduler/Planner for a new contract role.

The role is an initial 2-3 month contract.

You will join a project team responsible for the delivery of councils capital works program with projects spanning civil infrastructure, community buildings, parks and recreation.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Development of schedules for large scale capital works programs
- Development of schedule reporting
- Risk identification, analysis and mitigation
- Providing updates and guidance to internal stakeholder
- Monitoring and reporting finances and project progress
- Preparing detailed reports
- A sound understanding of Project Management Methodology
- Previous experience successfully developing and maintaining project schedules
- Experience in project management ideally within local government
- A solid understanding of Local Government policies and procedures
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A current driver's license
