**About the role**

Mater’s **Built Environment - Development and Infrastructure team** is seeking an exceptional **Planning Coordinator** in this **full time, maximum term 12-month** opportunity based at **Newstead.**

The purpose of this role is to coordinate projects within the planning portfolio of the Built Environment and support Capital Works at Mater.

**Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and**access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** +**access to many staff benefits

**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting to the Director Built Environment, the primary responsibility of this role will include:

- Support Program Planning Coordinator with Space, Art, Wayfinding and signage activities
- Develop and update project management governance and methodology
- Review project proposals, cashflows, and programs for policy consistency
- Coordinate communication with stakeholders for project updates
- Maintain inventory of project tools and templates
- Monitor project status and risks for timely completion
- Support project managers with financial data
- Prepare interim reports and provide regular updates to management
- Lead or participate in Built Environment portfolio projects and tasks

**About you**

Additionally, you will have:

- Current valid Driver's License
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a proven track record of fostering robust client relationships, mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Competence in Property Management & Space Management Software
