We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer, who will be responsible for achieving cash collection targets.

**Description**:
About the Role

Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the Junior Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible to achieve multi-division transaction processing of cash collection targets and maintain ageing of debt within set parameters.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:
Timely identification and communication of risks and/or opportunities identified
Maintain integrity of existing account detail in a timely manner
Provide reports, analytical and anecdotal information when required
Conduct weekly reviews of unallocated deposits and unprocessed claims
Open new accounts in the system, creating PSSA registrations and perform risk assessments
Manage the banking and allocation of cash/cheque receipts
Support with month end processes and reporting
Attend to inbound customer account queries

**Skills and Experience**:
TAFE Cert III or Cert IV, Diploma or higher in accounting
Experience in an Accounting role preferably within FMCG
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent attention to detail
Prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
Numerate with the ability to understand data and to interpret it in a lateral manner
