Statewide Manager Sms Operations

**The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills, and experience against these essential role requirements of the Individual Contributor leadership stream:
- Strong senior leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage others to adhere to legislative and procedural provisions.
- Proven experience in managing risk and in developing mitigation strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation, policy and procedures.
- Proven experience in, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and understanding of:
- sentence management and sentence administration practices,
- a criminal justice environment or similar human services/regulatory agency
- Proven experience in developing and managing stakeholder relationships, namely providing timely advice on complex issues, negotiating outcomes whilst
maintaining internal and external networks
- Knowledge and skills in developing and promoting the operations of a unit, specifically, service delivery improvements, development of innovative solutions, and ability to monitor trends to inform future decisions
- Proven experience in working within a strategic environment, identifying opportunities and promoting and managing change across the whole of sentence
management services
