Title: Ground Transport Officer

Our client is seeking an hard working, eager to learn individual whom wants to grow their career within a well-known business in the transport and logistics industry.

This position is primarily an outside role working a 24/7 roster, and will include:

- Patrols of all roadways moving illegally parked vehicles on in accordance with policy
- Undertake routine inspections and report defects or safety issues ensuring the area is safe.
- Patrol and manage forecourts looking for suspicious activity, unattended items and non-compliant vehicles in accordance with policy.
- Provide guidance, information, assistance and keep people safe as they pass through the airport.
- Delivering exceptional customer service ensuring the team attend customer enquiries within 5 minutes of notification.
- Maintain record keeping and reporting functions to meet audit standards.
- Safely operate a variety of plant and equipment and carry out routine maintenance and repairs to car park equipment.

You will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service as well as being able to prioritise your work while working effectively in a team and alone. Your can-do attitude and ability to prioritise your work will lead to your success.

What you will get in return

You will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment at an attractive hourly remuneration of $30-$35p/h. This is a temporary role that offers great industry exposure and has the opportunity to progress into a more permanent position, as well as great opportunities to progress your career through the business.
