**About the Role**:
We are seeking a talented Videographer to bring student stories to life through high quality video and photo content for our student communication channels. Offered as a full-time, four-month contract, this role is perfect for someone looking to build their portfolio, take on fresh creative challenges, and contribute to exciting projects within a dynamic team environment.

In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Student Engagement Manager to ensure all stages of production from planning to final edits, run smoothly, creatively, and safely, delivering on each brief’s objectives. You will also have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of students, capturing and showcasing their unique stories across our vibrant community. From creating dynamic, engaging social content to developing instructional and informative pieces, you will enjoy a varied and rewarding portfolio of work.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Shoot and edit high-quality video content, including operating video and stills cameras, recording audio, lighting, maintaining equipment, and all aspects of post-production, such as editing, titles, captions, grading, graphics, sound mixing, and exporting.
- Oversee the pre-production phase of video projects, including liaising with stakeholders and handling logístical arrangements to ensure smooth delivery.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop and continuously improve internal production processes and office systems, contributing to a culture of best practice.
- Ensure all video and media content meets high-quality standards, aligns with Curtin’s mission and values, and complies with brand identity, user experience, accessibility, and legislative requirements.
- Support the development of content plans for social media platforms, helping to drive the overall student communications strategy.

**We are looking for**:

- Strong creative and technical skills, with experience using Premiere Pro, the Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Proven experience operating professional video cameras and audio recording equipment.
- Expertise in video editing, with a solid understanding of formats, specifications, and aspect ratios.
- Outstanding organisational skills, able to manage time and juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

**Role Requirements**:

- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
