About the Role

Service Stream’s Water division are seeking an energetic and experienced Asset, Process & System Manager.

Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors, and internal work crews to ensure all work activity is conducted in a safe and effective manner.
- managing the end to end Asset Management life cycle and optimisation that supports the organisation’s strategic and operational outcomes
- delivery of optimal operational and commercial outcomes to ensure effective fiscal management.
- driving efficiencies, reducing costs and mitigating risk associated with the Adelaide Services Delivery project.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage and drive supplier performance (capability, delivery, quality, price, payment terms) through contract and relationship management, and spend / performance metrics.
- Manage Team performance / deliverables. Drive effective and efficient delivery of function operations in line with Company policies, procedures, and authority delegations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth through best practice Policy and procedures, cost reduction and value-adds incorporating statutory and legislative requirements managing and mitigating risk
- Drive asset commercial performance, managing improvement in utilisation and reduction in operating costs.
- Develop, communicate, and enforce internal controls, policies and operational procedures particular to the function.
- Key internal contact for all internal facilities management
- Develop and maintain of key internal and external Stakeholders and other partners
- WHS compliance and management
- Management of performance and compliance of all assets and liaison with operations.

About You
- Experience in business integration / transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated Asset management and finance experience.
- Knowledge and experience in developing and executing asset sourcing / funding strategies, and lease / contract management.
- Experience and understanding in business commercials / financials
- Strong problem-solving skills. A proven ability to make balanced judgments using imperfect information.
- Strong collaborative, coaching and people management skills with positive, can-do attitude and the ability to positively influence.
- Ability to work in a team with focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Agile. Adaptive to a dynamic environment, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experienced in developing risk profiles and implementation of risk management strategies
- Solid knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and asset performance criteria.
- Strong Commercial experience
