Operational Support Officer

About the role
As an Operational Support Officer within the Medical Imaging Department at Redland Hospital, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and safe daily operations to support our patients and staff.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
Providing direct support to clinical teams including patient transport and positioning
Performing cleaning, linen, and waste management duties within the department
Upholding safety standards and patient confidentiality at all times
Communicating clearly and respectfully with patients, staff, and visitors
Following all operational and health service protocols
About you
You're a hands-on, reliable team player who values integrity, care, and efficiency. You enjoy supporting others and bring a can-do attitude to your work. You understand that every interaction contributes to a patient's experience and are committed to safety, professionalism, and collaboration.
**We're looking for someone who can demonstrate**:
Ability to perform patient transport and handling duties safely and efficiently
Strong awareness of manual handling standards within a healthcare setting
Good communication skills with a respectful and patient-focused approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Flexibility to work across shifts as needed
