**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and influential asset management leader for the role of Superintendent Reliability. This role will provide leadership to a team of reliability engineers and be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the reliability program including engineering activities, defect elimination, asset health & condition monitoring across OS maintained assets

This role will report to the Manager Asset Management and will enable you to use your technical experience and leadership skills to coach and mentor your team, drive best practice, and truly make a difference to operational performance and set new benchmarks.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Create a culture where the safety and care of your team is priority, people development is meaningful and people are inspired and empowered to delivering superior performance;
- The development and continuous improvement of the reliability program including defect elimination, asset health & condition monitoring across OS maintained assets
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive equipment and maintenance performance outcomes
- Provide analytical expertise to support the team in the identification of reliability improvement opportunities and evaluate the success of implemented solutions

**About You**:
You will be a self-motivated individual with experience in leadership and asset management in a mining environment. You will be a strategic and analytical thinker with a strong understanding of asset management and reliability. You will bring energy and a strong team player attitude with the ability to collaborate across teams.

In addition, we are looking for the following:

- Experience in a similar position managing mobile and fixed plant assets
- Ability to report on and influence reliability and maintenance performance at a senior level;
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage communications and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Exposure to the BHP Operating System (BOS) would be advantageous.
