**Your day to day**
InterContinental Adelaide is looking for an energetic** Reservations Agent** who has a eye for detail to join our high performing Reservations team

As a Reservations Agent you'll be responsible for ensuring our guests begin to experience the InterContinental Life, even before they arrive to our hotel. Efficiency, accuracy and personalised interactions are key to success in this role.

Your day to day:

- Assist guests with reservation inquiries and think outside the box to make their stay memorable
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue
- Provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all requests for guest reservations, changes and cancellations
- Process all reservations prior to guest arrivals and work collaboratively with our Front Office team to ensure our guests have a seamless arrival experience and all requests are actioned

**What we need from you**
This role requires demonstrated ability to interact with customers, colleagues and third parties in a manner that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. Strong time management, problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Ideally, you'll have
- Reservations experience in a large hotel with a strong understanding of hotel operations
- Strong administration & computer skills
- Experience with Opera PMS system
- Confidence in your communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, colleagues and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, and InterContinental brand

You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
