Sydney, Australia TPG Telecom Full time

Hybrid Work Environment - We Flex to Thrive
- Exciting time to join a top 100 ASX listed business with big goals.
- Access to a great selection of benefits and corporate discounts

We’ve only just begun, but what a beginning. In a once in a generation moment, we’ve brought together powerful brands to create one united force. TPG Telecom has a powerhouse of brands which include Vodafone, TPG, iiNet, Internode, Lebara, AAPT and felix. The latest technology and brave thinking let us connect our people and communities. You could play a role in that. A big one. We invite you to bring your boldness and stand out. You are empowered. Opportunities are plenty for those ready to accept the challenge.

**This opportunity**

As Analytics Business Partner in the newly established Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will partner with business teams and other analytics functions embedded within business units to jointly identify and holistically understand business challenges, and then collaboratively develop data and analytics use cases that address these challenges. You will serve as a strategic advisor to key business stakeholders, recommending what is and what is not possible.

You will own prioritization and be the “voice of the business” to cross-functional delivery teams within the CoE (composed of Data Science, Data Visualisation, Data Engineering and Data Governance resources). You will also be responsible for delivery of the business use cases, ensuring value realisation, and championing adoption. As a core part of your engagement with business stakeholders and internal CoE teams, you will have a bias for action over academic perfection. As the CoE serves all parts of TPG Telecom, your work may cover a variety of business units, products, and customer segments

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and build close partnerships with business leaders and other analytics teams embedded within business units, acting as an initial point of contact that represents the CoE.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to fully understand business problems and requirements. Throughout the delivery process, effectively communicate the team’s complex work, insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in written form.
- Identify and holistically understand business challenges and highest value opportunities through structured approaches with business teams. Collaboratively develop data and analytics requirements to solve these challenges, including developing customised analytics roadmaps by business unit.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders recommending data-first solutions, providing guidance on what is and what is not possible.
- Champion awareness and advocacy of analytics, in part through clearly and concisely explaining analytics approaches and techniques to non-technical audiences.
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver prioritised use cases, ensure value realisation, and champion adoption. These “squad-style” teams are composed of other functions in the CoE (Data Science, Data Visualisation, Data Engineering and Data Governance) as well as team members from the respective business unit.
- Develop and build partnerships with all other leaders in the CoE (Data Science, Data / ML Engineering, Data Visualisation, and Data Governance & Enablement).
- Promote an analytics culture that focuses on driving value, especially “last mile execution” with a bias for action over academic perfection.
- Support an innovative and collaborative culture within your team and the Data and Analytics CoE.

**Knowledge and experience**
- University degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer, business/ commerce, statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Track record of leading high-impact, cross-functional projects from ideation to strategy and implementation.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple end-to-end projects and ongoing work simultaneously with autonomy.
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Capability to develop actionable, value-add insights from complex data, and then clearly and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) those insights to non-technical audiences to drive business impact.
- Experience developing relationships and partnering with multiple business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent business acumen and judgment.
- A “solutions mindset” of natural curiosity and a strong motivation to solve problems, no matter how complicated or ambiguous they might be.
- Comfort with ambiguity, a fast-paced environment, and shifting priorities.
- Above all else, a “can-do” attitude is the most important qualification

**Benefits and perks**
- Flexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)
- ‘Stay Connected Mobile’ - Access to a free mobile plan
- ‘Stay Connected NBN’ - Access to a free NBN 100 plan
- ‘Your Leave’ - an additional 4 days of leave to be used whenever you like - every year
