**The opportunity**

Join GWW in the newly created role This is a unique role where you will create and shape the uplift of procurement and supply management for the enterprise. Working within the Strategic Procurement Team, see yourself deliver value by providing safe, efficient, and effective procurement to GWW across its supplier base.

**Responsibilities**
- Optimise the supply base through demonstrating solutions for key spend categories ensuring value for money is achieved
- Maximise GWW purchasing power across categories and in accordance with the GWW Procurement Policy and procedures
- Develop and drive category, supplier, and sourcing strategies
- Drive the optimisation and continuous improvement of the Operations Category
- Support the Procurement process from sourcing strategy to contract execution.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in strategic sourcing, category management and procurement.
- Savvy analytical expertise with robust critical reasoning and creative thinking.
- Compelling influencing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility to work autonomously and within a team
- Exceptional ability to influence, engage and drive ongoing process improvements
