**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Auditing drivers’ paperwork ensuring all requirements and standards are met and within legislative guidelines.
- Administration of Company Fatigue Management Program
- Update transport fatigue management system with accurate and timely information
- Maintenance of Journey Management plans
- Ensuring Sands is meeting all requirements and standards within WA Driver Fatigue and WA Mian Roads accreditation guidelines
- Provide advice and guidance on transport compliant issue to management.
- Completing daily and weekly cross checks of logbook pages vs log checker
- Issuing breach/corrective action notifications to drivers
- Coaching drivers on compliance
- Scanning all logbook pages, Prestarts and compliance related checks
- Conducting monthly checks and maintenance on Driver’s inductions and Licences
- Conducting monthly checks and maintenance on Subcontractors WAHVA and insurance compliance
- Assist in the development or implementation and maintenance of compliance-related policies and procedures

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrated safety and compliance focus
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics compliance role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of transport management systems and processes
- Knowledge and understanding of WA Driver Fatigue legislation and practices
- Excellent time management & multi-tasking skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving capability.
- Knowledge of fleet systems and regulations including Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility and Vehicle Mass and Maintenance under Main Roads.
