**Job Title**: Payroll

**Location**: Laverton VIC

**Salary**: $75k -$88k +Super

**About the Role**:
Our client is currently looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join their team and contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of the fortnightly payroll. This position is available in Melbourne and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement along with ample opportunities for learning and growth within a supportive team environment.

**Key Duties**:

- Daily communication with payroll stakeholders to promptly address inquiries.
- Efficiently manage workflow to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions.
- Reconcile payroll data before transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Analyze and process timesheets for multiple locations.
- Understand the taxation of employer-paid benefits and PAYG.
- Effectively handle new starters and terminations.
- Generate fortnightly and monthly financial reports.
- Process leave, deductions, allowances, bonuses, and superannuation choices.
- Foster strong relationships across the business.

**About Your Experience**:

- Previous experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and the ability to interpret EBAs.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Intermediate experience in Excel and the ability to generate financial reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to upholding compliance standards.
