Graduate Account Executive

Stylus is a trends intelligence agency with offices in Australia, London, New York, Germany and Japan. We provide global consumer lifestyle, product and brand engagement insights to b2c clients and international agency networks. Our research, covering 20 different industries, is delivered online via digital trend reports, events and multimedia, including podcasts, webinar presentations and events, enabling our clients to turn change into commercial success.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Account Executive to join our APAC team based in Melbourne, Australia.
As Account Executive you will work closely with and support the Senior Regional Manager in order to help service, renew and grow clients across industry sectors including agencies, fashion, automotive, food and drink, tech, lifestyle, media owners and creative companies.

This is a fabulous role for someone who is excited by the opportunity of helping brands grow by understanding the future consumer landscape and is looking to progress their career in a high-profile client facing role with some of the biggest companies in Australia and Internationally.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Become a Stylus brand ambassador to ensure a positive client experience by developing knowledge on Stylus content to expert level
- Create engaging communication with clients, researching Stylus content and providing content reports
- Manage inbound client enquiries
- Support Regional Manager in building new business pipeline by uncovering prospects and setting appointments
- Support monthly events, inviting clients and managing leads post event
- Work with internal Stylus teams to create briefing documents on upcoming content & events
- Update & maintain LinkedIn SalesNav & monitor client usage and accounts
- Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline & forecast reports

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Ability to communicate clearly at a high level with confidence and authority
- Superior oral communication skills, excellent written skills and engaging presentation skills, with the ability to adapt any scripted communications to a specific conversation and react quickly to questions
- Results driven, motivated and passionate about sales
- Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation, consumer trends and our business
- Engaging, upbeat and proactive
- A high degree of professionalism and can demonstrate potential to develop client relationship management skills
- Great academic record, strong analytical skills, high achievers
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to write clear, concise copy in English
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and MS office products such as Excel
- Experience with CRM system preferred but not essential
- Equally able to work well in a team environment but also work autonomously
- Resourceful, self-motivated, competitive and ambitious
- High degree of intellectual curiosity
- Ideally you will have completed a business-related degree

**Salary**: 65k AUD plus commission
