Sample Reception Officer

**About the Company**

Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. We currently have an opportunity for a Sample Reception Officer to commence a temporary contract.

**About the Role**

The primary purpose of the Sample Reception Officer role is to assist the Customer Engagement Leader with customer management and assist with inbound/outbound logistics to drive efficient and effective customer service delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with SAS customers
- Provide information and communication exchange with SAS Section Supervisors
- Adopt a role model customer focused behaviour by delivering the highest standards of service to our customers
- Prepare and stock laboratory glassware and containers in accordance with documented procedures, and dispatch sample containers, equipment and associated documentation to customers as required
- Operate in accordance with legislative and other requirements for quality, contract and tendering, EEO, OH&S and environmental management

**About You**
- Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) experience or similar
- Demonstrated ability in the delivery of quality customer focused services
- Demonstrated ability to utilise computer software including laboratory database software, word processors and spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently and provide support to other areas of Laboratory as required
- Basic understanding of chemistry/microbiology/environmental monitoring protocols to prepare glassware and bottles required for analysis
- Possession of a current class “C” driver’s licence.
