**About the Role**

If this resonates with you, Data Action (DA) is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full-time, 12-month basis, where you will become an integral member of the Finance department.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role, contributing directly to financial reporting and forecasting for the business. You will lead revenue reconciliation, departmental cost management, business case inputs and validation, deliver project forecast analysis, CAPEX resource assessment, and KPI development. Collaborating closely with your team, you will demonstrate a proactive and adaptable skill set to support DA through an exciting growth period.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare business unit and departmental monthly financial reports, including variance analysis using workday adaptive planning.
- Support year-end financial reporting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial results production.
- Collaborate with budget holders to inform financial modelling and budget preparation.
- Focus on revenue recognition and reconciliation to establish forecasting transparency.
- Develop product pricing models in partnership with Commercial and Contracts teams.
- Conduct end-to-end CAPEX analysis, validating business case assumptions, ensuring forecasts are maintained to a high standard, working closely with the Financial Accountant.
- Assist with the completion of the end of year financial audit.

**What You Will Need to Succeed**:

- Tertiary degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent experience.
- CA/CPA/CGMA qualification with 3 years post-qualified experience.
- Extensive experience in Finance and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven financial management reporting experience.
- Familiarity with Financial Audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
