**The Role**

As a Shire Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for lodging and tracking building submissions to both shires and developers.

Additional key responsibilities will include:

- Update all outstanding reports such as shire, developer, water corp etc
- Liaise and support Drafting in dealing with shire and developer rejections and resubmissions
- Create and action preconstruction variation requests

**You**

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong administration skills - with an eye for attention to detail
- Superior time management and organisation
- Team player and strong interpersonal communication
- Understanding residential design and building codes of Australia (highly desired)
- Previous experience in planning and shire roles will be considered favourably
