**About the Role**

The Revenue administration officer supports the Revenue Services business unit in the administration of the property database and the collection of Council’s rates and other revenue.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

- To ensure the timely and accurate completion of the administrative tasks within the Revenue team
- Provision of general rating and property advice in an accurate and timely manner
- Administer and reconcile the daily bank download process to ensure the accurate timely completion of online cash receipting.
- Daily processing of monies paid directly to Council bank accounts
- Provide excellent customer service to the community.
- Ability to provide assistance to the Coordinator of Revenue Services and the wider team when required

The successful applicant will be customer service focussed and will have well-developed computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel, computerised accounting systems, property file systems and other associated computer software. A certificate in Business administration and/or relevant experience in administration is also required.
