Responsibilities Include:

- Deliver comprehensive and engaging training programs in civil construction, including theoretical and practical instruction.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to enhance students' understanding of construction techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Assess student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and course evaluations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure course content remains relevant and current.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to continuously improve the course curriculum and delivery methods.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and promotes teamwork.
- Mentor and support students, providing career guidance and assisting with job placement opportunities.

Must Have the following Skills and Qualifications:

- RIIMPO321F - CONDUCT CIVIL CONSTRUCTION WHEELED FRONT END LOADER OPERATIONS
- RIIMPO320F- CONDUCT CIVIL CONSTRUCTION EXCAVATOR OPERATIONS
- RIIMPO319E- CONDUCT BACKHOE/LOADER OPERATIONS
- RIIMPO318F - CONDUCT CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SKID STEER LOADER OPERATIONS
- Proven experience in civil construction, including expertise in areas such as site preparation, earthwork, foundations, utilities, and road construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Previous experience in teaching or training, preferably in a vocational or technical education setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying skill levels.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer software and instructional technology for course delivery and assessment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that adheres to industry standards and regulations.
- Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment Qualification.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and industry partners
