Which means it’s ok to wear jeans and trainers in our fantastic office if you want.- In this critical role, you will provide expert medical opinion across both Zurich Australia (ZAL) and One Path Life (OPL) to support underwriting risk assessment, medical definition accuracy and relevance, pricing of conditions as well as claims assessment guidance. You will retain up to date knowledge of clinical practice and relevant clinical protocols to provide evidence based, evidence led, or evidence informed opinion.- This role is incredibly important to improve health capability across ZAL and OPL through the design and delivery of a medical training program. You will also provide both ZAL and OPL with evidence
- based medical insights and opportunities to support health thought-leadership both within the industry as well as the Australian public.- Important to your success - let's grow together- Previous experience as a Qualified medical practitioner, ideally with registration in Australia.
- Experience in the Life Insurance industry or health industry is preferable, as is experience in designing and delivering medical training programs.
- Knowledge within medical areas, critical illnesses and/or specific health and wellbeing themes, to support pricing and product initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management with exemplary communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to take initiative, drive, and deliver strong business outcomes.
- An analytical mindset with proficiency in problem resolution.
- Ability to work in a changing environment where service and the customer experience is extremely important.
