**THE ROLE**
**Project Officer**
The Project Officer in the Housing Development Branch will place a key role in providing support services to the project team who are focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The role will contribute to a variety of complex projects at the development and delivery phases, the procurement of contracted services and products, complex data management and reporting and ongoing process development and improvement.
**Are you**
- Experienced within the construction sector exposure to large scale, fast-tracked residential and/or social infrastructure projects?
- Able to conceptualise an idea and turn the idea into a deliverable that meet business needs?
- Open to new ideas; show initiative; proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them?
- Strong in analytical thinking and comfortable dealing with high levels of complexity as well as an ability to highlight issues and risks?
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders?
- Qualified and/or experienced in procurement and delivery of residential and/or large scale commercial projects with a proven track record of contract administration, financial management and process management for large scale projects?
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide end to end support across all project phases to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.
- Coordinate collaborative input across the team to create comprehensive and data-informed reports that support project objectives and outcomes.
