We are currently looking for a **Lead Civil Designer** to join our team in Perth.

We have an exciting projects portfolio that spans across (but not limited to) battery minerals and critical metals as well as our focused strength in Copper, Uranium, and Gold.

This role will play a fundamental role within the team by producing earthwork designs and drawings and would suit someone with a strong mining and minerals background and a demonstrated background in the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient management and deliver of projects within budget and quality constraints.

**About the role**
- Development of earthwork design solutions to the satisfaction of the client’s requirements
- Ensure designs and associated documents are accurate
- Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by adhering to Ausenco design drafting standards
- Provide technical support and assistance within the discipline team
- Support graduate engineers and designers

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience within civil engineering including earthworks, roads and stormwater systems
- Experience working in engineering consulting
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Associate Diploma
- Competent user of 12D and AutoCAD
- Ability to work with little supervision with effective time management skills

You will join a team that includes multiple Subject Matter Experts including working with our in house Technical Solutions Group. Our projects are presented differently with our design being both unique and bespoke. From the technology we use, to where we can design our plants to operate. We have commissioned plants on the side of mountains and regularly in challenging terrains that our competition will not attempt.

We use 'same unit' processes however configure them in a unique way to drive maximum efficiencies.
