**About the role**

An exciting opportunity awaits a **Lead Civil Designer** to join the Stantec team, based in our **Perth CBD office.** In this role, you will be a key contributor within our **Energy & Resources division**, leading both local and offshore design resources.

The position focuses on delivering a suite of **sustaining capital projects** for our key clients. We need someone with **strong leadership skills** to manage diverse teams, oversee design tasks, and maintain project standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring successful collaboration between local and offshore teams while driving project outcomes.

**How to apply**

**Qualifications**

**To be successful for this role you'll need**:

- Tertiary / Vocation education in Civil Drafting &/or Design;
- Extensive 12D design experience required;
- Bentley OpenRoads and MicroStation;
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Mining Industry design, particularly bulk earthworks projects;
- Haul road design expertise;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines; and
- Positive, can-do attitude.
