**The role
**The Insights Executive role will assist the Research and Insights team in the packaging and execution of customer insights to support the marketing, product and sales teams, with a view to generating revenue.
This includes assisting with collateral, sales toolkits, brand activity, internal and external comms, seasonal research and insights programs. The role will support the greater Marketing and Insights team with data-led thinking that demonstrates our customer value proposition, ‘We Get Customers’.
To ensure Cartology has exposure to essential and up to date customer data and insights, the role requires a high level of internal stakeholder management to uncover and leverage the strengths of our connection to Woolworths, Woolies X and Rewards stakeholders. This person will also be required to collate monthly reviews of competitor and global retail media companies in the customer insights space - their finger will be on the pulse.
The skills required to succeed in this role include having a meticulous eye for detail, the ability to analyse survey and behavioural data, and turn data into great storytelling that will assist to drive revenue.
Reponsibilities:
- Gather, collate, and assist with the translation and packaging of customer data and insights to support the Cartology sales team in market
- Assist other members of the marketing and insights team with the development of sales collateral, forms of marketing communication, presentation templates
- You will own the insights library and will ensure it has all of the necessary and updated collateral, stats and data points and assets for the sales team to access.
- Work with the Insights Manager to develop a library of results driven campaign case studies
- Become familiar with data analytic tools at an introductory level such as Sheets and Tableau
- Stakeholder management that enables understanding of who the key contacts are across the Woolworths group for all things marketing, data and insights
- Develop an understanding of the sources of data available across the business (Woolworths, WooliesX, Quantium etc) that can be used to develop insights to benefit Cartology and the selling of Cartology media assets
- Work with key contacts within the Woolworths group to attain approval to use internal sources of data and insights for external purposes
- Be a custodian of competitor intel, retail media and cultural trends, global customer and shopper research
- Work closely with all key stakeholders across the Woolworths Group and external suppliers to deliver all programs on time and to an excellent standard
- Be curious about consumer behaviour and an inspiring advocate for marketing and insights at Cartology
- Act as a brand ambassador within Cartology, helping to ensure that all marketing and insights material is on brand and follows Cartology design guidelines
- Responsible for managing general team admin, invoices and budget tracker.
