The role of Instructional Designer is key to creating and delivering world class innovative learning experiences to the Goodstart network.
Critical to the success of this role will be the creation of highly engaging learning artefacts, resources, courses and learning materials to support the growth and development of Goodstart employees. The Instructional Designer has an excellent understanding of contemporary adult learning design, and delivers effective learning solutions on time.
**Your Impact**:
Develop design concepts to meet the learning requirements in support of organisational initiatives.
Create innovative professional learning solutions using a range of mediums, including creating video, animations, infographics, podcasts, job-aids, Learning Guides, PowerPoints, SharePoint sites and eLearning.
Develop learning outcomes, activities, scripts, and assessments with consideration given to adult learning principles and learning styles.
Utilise organisational systems and platforms to design and develop learning solutions.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/curriculum writers within the organisation to design highly engaging professional learning programs/ modules/ courses and artefacts.
Manage project tasks, coordinate SMEs/curriculum writers/administrators and deliver projects on time.
Maintain quality standards that align with the organisation’s Enterprise Learning and Development Strategy (ELDS).
Manage multiple projects and adjust shifting priorities as they arise.
Other learning priorities and projects as directed by the Head of Professional Learning.

**You’ll bring to the table**:
Formal qualification/certifications (e.g., Certificate IV TAE) in instructional design/ adult learning.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and delivery of learning and development solutions.
Able to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media and methods.
Demonstrated high-level proficiency in the use of a range of tools and technologies such as video, video editing software, Articulate Suite, Vyond, Canva, SharePoint and Learning Management Systems to design learning.
