Overview (Text Only): The Retail Environment Coordinator has a passion for youth culture and retail. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandise you will bring expertise in the areas of visual merchandising, window campaign planning, production management, in-store enhancement, and store staff engagement. The Retail Environment Coordinator is a unique evolving role that delivers a holistic brand experience for our customers in store and across channels and Drives Foot Locker campaign and VM marketing initiatives for the marketplace across Asia Pacific. This key player is a highly motivated, exceptionally organized, creative individual with strong, forward thinking vision. Must be a effective communicator who can #Bring Others Along by creating partnerships with internal Foot Locker teams and vendors for the visual presentation of our product stories and our stores to deliver the holistic experience. Your ability to blend strategic thinking with operational excellence will be crucial in this role. So too will your love of sneakers, sport, youth culture and product merchandising. Working closely with the rest of the division’s central Customer Experience and Sales, and marketing teams, this position provides the creative point of view on all brand concepts and will assimilate in all areas of the marketing mix, including social media, ecommerce/website and media. This All-star is able to develop creative concepts and also complete the execution of these concepts, in campaign development and design including photography and video capture, editing and graphic design and Visual Merchandising Responsibilities:
**_ Visual Merchandising_**
- Maintain the Visual Standards Manual, providing regular updates (in consultation with global VM teams).
- Develop product installations on a larger scale for key power stores in partnership with marketing department (storytelling in large physical spaces, such as event spaces).
- Monitor emerging issues, trends, opportunities and best practice innovations in the Marketing, Design and VM industries.
**_ Store Design / New Store Build outs_**
- _ _ Review proposed store layouts for new stores with store development and marketing teams.
- Execute plans of new stores, either in person or providing advice and instructions to the store opening team / Marketing Coordinator.
**_ Campaign Design / Graphic Design_**
- Development of vendor and brand campaigns and VM material (working with vendors & their agencies and developing material in-house) with the marketing department and further support from the Senior Manager of Visual Merchandise.
- Design and develop all POS kits and signage for the stores with support of the marketing department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Certificate qualification in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and or Interior Design.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, or 5+ years’ experience in a similar role without the qualification.
- Experience in retail / dynamic work environment highly desirable.
- Experience in creative project work and working in a cross functional team environment.
- Proficient with the following software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign. Although not essential, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Flash will be highly regarded.
- Visual Merchandising or Interior Design experience very highly regarded.
- Photography and animation experience highly desirable.
