Our valued client, Idec Solutions are seeking to employ suitably qualified Draftsperson to provide services and complete tasks as directed by GM-DET (Digital Engineering Team) in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Preparation of concept drawings for quotations.
- Prepare drawings for town planning approval and check compliance with relevant council regulations and BCA. (Drafting)
- Prepare engineering design drawings from information provided by Engineering. (Drafting)
- Document control - transmittals / drawing register.
- Prepare workshop details for steel fabrication. (Detailing)
- Prepare ordering schedules for cladding, flashing and bolts.
- Adhere to relevant procedures and policies.
- Work together as a team.
- Consult Design Manager on a regular basis.
- Be open to feedback from GM - DET.
- Adhere to instructions by Safety Advisor.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have
- Previous industry related experience within similar position
- A strong work ethics and strong safety focus
- Ability to carry out work with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- A keen and enthusiastic approach to your work and willingness to work over time will help you ensure success in this role.

**Salary**: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
