With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.**About the Role**
GSHS is currently seeking Staff Specialist for the Medical Unit at Leongatha Campus. The successful applicants will support the provision of high-quality clinical care to patients at Leongatha Medical Ward. This position is part time, and reports to the Executive Director of Medical Services.**About You**
Applicants should possess the following experience/qualifications:
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Significant experience in the provision of medical inpatient care
- Commitment to maintaining or developing skills relevant to internal medicine
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to education and training
- Interpersonal skills that promote effective teamwork and patient safety
- Current and satisfactory National Police Records Check
- Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check
- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : I have had my COVID-19 vaccine, or if I am successful in obtaining this role, I am willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine (3) before commencing.
