Chandler Macleod are currently looking for a trade qualified Maintenance Fitter with previous experience within a food processing environment.

**The successful applicant will be required to work a 4 day rotating roster on overnight shifts with regular weekend overtime available.**

**Duties of this role will include**:

- Contributing to the efficiency of plant by assisting to identify improvement and automation opportunities
- Preventative maintenance of all Plant and Equipment
- Ensuring optimal production efficiency and downtime is minimised
- Project work including new equipment installations and commissioning
- Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks

**What do we need from you?**
- Must have manufacturing industry experience (FMCG industry experience is highly regarded)
- PLC knowledge and experience
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Have strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be able to follow instructions
- Be committed to your safety and the safety of others in the workplace
- No birds, pigs or chickens at your place of residence
