**The Role**
We are currently seeking an experienced **Mechanical Fitter** to join our operations. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial equipment across various sites.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding on equipment to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules and procedures.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate and effective work.
- Ensure safe work practices at all times and adhere to site-specific safety policies.
- Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Relevant Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
- Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience** in a similar maintenance fitter role.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment maintenance.
- A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and quality workmanship.
- Full Australian working rights and a current driver’s licence.
- White Card and any relevant site access tickets are highly regarded.

**What We Offer**
- **$49/hour based on a 38-hour week (excluding superannuation)**.

Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour
