**Your Impact**

This is an exciting opportunity to drive the Asahi Quality strategy through leading the Quality Department at our Wulkuraka site in achieving business outputs in the most efficient and effective manner.

The focus will be on leading the quality and food safety agenda within the site, driving compliance to meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements and lead GMP, Quality systems, cleaning and sanitation programmes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the team in improving organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance and quality culture
- Facilitate implementation of change initiatives and drive continuous improvement in quality
- Management /Custodian of quality and food safety systems and procedures
- Develop and implement the site Value in Action (VIA) quality improvement program and ensure alignment with Supply Chain strategy
- Manage internal and external audits in relation to quality and where required implement corrective actions

**About You**
- Bachelor Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline
- Experience in Quality Management positions in an FMCG Manufacturing environment
- Experience of GFSI standards
- Well-developed team management skills
- Intimate knowledge of business operations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation and site policies
- Strong Quality Systems / Food Safety program knowledge
