We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Program Coordinator to join our Community Recovery Programs Branch. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the effective delivery of community recovery program funding. **About the Role**
As the Assistant Program Coordinator, you will:

- Support Program Delivery: Undertake a range of administrative activities to ensure efficient and compliant management of grants and other funding programs in line with policies, strategies, and standards.
- Contribute to Projects: Assist with various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing community recovery programs.
- Data Management: Compile, analyse, and interpret data to support performance monitoring, program design, and evaluation.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research, gather relevant information, and prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management.

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Knowledge: A sound understanding of NSW Government Grants and Procurement legislation, policy frameworks, and project management principles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage data, track compliance, and support accurate reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making and program outcomes.
- Communication: Clear and concise communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, supporting projects, and contributing to shared goals.

Essential requirements:

- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.

**About the Agency**
The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
