The Major Systems Deployment Specialist oversees deployment activities across a set of highly integrated, cross platform, critical core systems of record. This includes developing Deployment competency framework and standards for all deployments across the portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Deployment Framework, Guidelines, Work Instructions, Training and onboarding content. Ensure deployment framework is adhered to by relevant platform, project and vendor teams.
- Oversee all pre-production and Production cutover deployments for an Integrated suite of solutions ensuring a smooth transition to support with mínimal customer impact. Accountable for development of key governance deliverables including detailed deployment plan, release roll back plan, deployment schedule, and deployment plan on a page for Release governance forum.
- Accountable for the detailed cutover schedule overseeing the inputs of the business analysts for sequencing of business activities eg readiness checkpoints, cutover procedures in legacy and target environments, interim procedures, catch up activities and technical activities (interface changes, interface decommissioning, code deployment and data migration.
- Ensure deployment practices are regularly matured to support evolving IT delivery mechanisms, with a focus on change automation and enablement of a federated governance model for low-risk work.
- Work closely with Environment, Change and Release coordinators to coordinate deployments around complex Environment and Release schedule.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in coordinating change, environment management and release cutover activities across complex ICT portfolios
- Experience in scheduling and deployment tools and has previously maintained schedule disciplines in large and complex program of work that consist of multiple business, IT and project teams.
- Previously used Microsoft Project as a daily management tool
- Experience delivering a high volume of work, under pressure with challenging timelines.
