***Your next exciting job opportunity -**

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated **Finance Analyst** to join our team on a **6-month fixed term contract** based in **Brisbane**. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department in various financial planning and analysis activities. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

**In this role you will be able to**:

- Conduct financial analysis and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance

**Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools
- Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus
