The Opportunity

As the General Manager, Investment Management - Alternates within the Alternative Investments team, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to achieve investment objectives. You will oversee the efficient operation of investments and developments to maximize asset value and investment performance. This portfolio includes assets and capital strategies across various classes, such as residential, healthcare, and industrial, and you will also be accountable for the oversight and delivery of the trading portfolio.

You will make an impact by:

- Overseeing investment positions and ensure timely returns.
- Leading asset and development strategies, aligning with strategic plans.
- Setting objectives and prepare annual business plans for assets.
- Reviewing and refining property strategies with stakeholders.
- Managing budgets to achieve financial targets.
- Overseeing leasing activities and tenant compliance.
- Collaborating on acquisitions and divestments, participating in due diligence.
- Contributing to investment strategies for Trading and DREP portfolios.
- Supporting team engagement and professional development.
- Implementing crisis management and emergency protocols.

About You
- Strong understanding and experience in investment/portfolio management across multiple sectors.
- Experience across real asset transactions, origination and development is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively.
- Comprehensive skills in negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and customer retention.
- Proven ability to build and lead a high-functioning team.
- Capable of developing and implementing effective investment strategies with flexibility to adapt to market conditions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and asset management.
- Skilled in Risk Management: Able to identify and mitigate investment risks.
