About Wholesum

This is a rare opportunity to join Wholesum, a boutique and unique ethical, impact-driven and Islamic investment company committed to reshaping the future of finance for all.

Our young and ambitious company was founded in 2023, is backed by passionate, visionary angel investors and a suite of leading financial, philanthropic and investment partners. Having spent the past two years validating our financial and investment services, we're excited to introduce a critical role for the right candidate in our essential Investment team.

About the Role

As a core member of the Investment team, the Investment Manager will lead due diligence and deal execution for Wholesum Responsible Fund's small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) private credit investments. The Wholesum Responsible Fund invests in global SMEs that contribute to innovation, reduce poverty and create dignified jobs. You'll also contribute to the development of new investment solutions as we grow our product offering across additional asset classes and customer segments (beyond wholesale only). You will eventually execute investment deals in those strategies.

This role is ideal for someone excited about using finance to deliver real-world impact, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and is ready to take full ownership of their work. At Wholesum, we are motivated to leave a legacy for a more sustainable and inclusive world for future generations.

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence across financial, legal, commercial, ethical and ESG dimensions.

What Success Looks Like:

Our Values

At Wholesum, we're driven by the belief that finance should empower, not exploit. Our mission is grounded in a commitment to transparency, integrity, and responsibility – not only to our investors and partners, but to the communities we serve and the planet we share.

We don't just talk about values, we live them. Whether it's the way we structure our deals, support ethical SMEs, or engage with our investors, we aim to act with sincerity, humility, and long-term thinking. We seek team members who lead with purpose, operate with empathy, and strive to build something meaningful together.

Diversity and Inclusion

Wholesum is built on the understanding that diverse perspectives make better decisions and more resilient organisations. We are proud to be mission-led and globally minded. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, faiths, identities, and life experiences to apply.
