A unique opportunity to join a high-performance team focused on continuing to support Dexus’s journey towards becoming recognised as Australasia’s leading real assets manager. We own and manage the best office portfolio in Australia on behalf of some of the world’s most sophisticated real estate investors. The Office Sector currently comprises c.120 employees and is responsible for the sector investment strategy execution from to origination capital transactions, development, asset management, and property management.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced General Manager role in which you will be responsible for the embedding investment management thinking and approaches through the asset planning and execution process, including the oversight of Capital Transactions in the Office sector. This role oversees the strategic vision of transactions and investments as well as working closely with many internal stakeholders to deliver on transactions in required timeframes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum tertiary degree qualification in Property/Land Economic/Real Estate/Commerce/Business.
- CA, CFA, Masters of Applied Finance, or MBA advantageous.
- 10 + years’ experience in a property and/or private equity environment is advantageous.
- Experience in transaction/project management - relevant Office transaction experience is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of property valuation software such as Forbury, ARGUS or Estate Master.
- Track record of improving business processes and effectiveness of business functions advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with internal and external parties.
- Broad market networks.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work with mínimal supervision and assume full responsibility for completion of tasks.
- Positive attitude and team spirit with demonstrated ability to get on with a range of people with diverse personalities.
- Highly flexible and adaptable in a changing and demanding environment.
