**About the position**

Council's Financial & Integrated Planning Department is looking for a Revenue Recovery Officer who will be responsible for managing the recovery of outstanding debt, working proactively with Financial Counselling Services to assist ratepayers experiencing financial hardship and undertaking the legal recovery process. In this role you will have a customer first approach, the ability to identify those ratepayers in financial difficulty and be able to manage these customers effectively.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Processing and maintaining Arrangements to pay;
- Identifying and managing those in Financial Hardship;
- Debt Recovery and Legal process;
- Direct debits and Journals;
- Reporting and statistical analysis of outstanding debts; and
- General Revenue Tasks.

This is a permanent full time role working 38 hours per week

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $80,750 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
