**The role**:
The Service Delivery Group is responsible for the maintenance of our water and sewer assets, network operations, operational technology, treatment and recovery services and asset performance and resilience functions of the business.
**We’re seeking a Contracts Coordinator to come on board in a job-share arrangement, working 20 hours across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week. Please note that this is a maximum-term role for 6 months.**
Reporting to the Contracts Program Manager, this role works with the team to evaluate tender proposals, facilitate bid inquiries, support the development of the negotiation strategy, and lead negotiations and meetings with suppliers. The Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of the sourcing strategies to deliver the objective of providing the business with a supply base that supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations at the lowest cost.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Contract Manager to ensure contractual agreements are managed and reviewed in accordance with the agreed terms.
- Review contract scopes of work for continued alignment to business requirements and budgets.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in contract rate structures and cost avoidance.
- Prepare and communicates contract status reports to Contract Managers.
- Assess and monitor supplier risk to assure continuity of supply in line with business requirements.
**Who are you?**:
Your ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder and vendor relationships and proven experience in contract management environment will be crucial to your success.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification and/or technical qualifications in administration management, commerce, law, engineering, or related disciplines - preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in supply or operational roles.
- 2+ years' experience in translating strategy into action plans, including tracking progress to plan.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, to influence outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (essential), SharePoint and Arcus (preferred).
