Procurement Support Officer for high profile renewable project

This Global energy producer has ambitious plans to become a net-zero company. They have a flagship multi-billion-dollar project currently at early stages. This will see existing infrastructure repurposed to support the decarbonisation of aviation and heavy industry.

They are looking for a Procurement Support Officer with to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services.

**The responsibilities will include**:

- Navigate their Procurement System
- Assist and co-ordinate requirements and raise requisitions.
- Research information on materials & equipment, estimate costs and analyse usage
- Maintain records of supplier/subcontractor and their performance and compliance
- Maintain records of contract/purchase order delivery schedules
- Maintain accounts & delivery records of purchased items.
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Manager when required.

**Skills & Core Competencies**:

- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel.
- Proven ability in accepting direction and completing assigned work accurately and on time.
- Strong organisational skills are required.
- Effective time management skills and excellent attention to details
- Team player with a willing to learn attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solving, adapt to change, accuracy and commitment to quality of services.

This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis (minimum 12 months) and is based in Perth CBD with the option of the working from home for a day or so a week.
