Are you organised, motivated, and passionate about supporting programs that inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers? Join our team as an **Administrative Assistant** for the Science and Engineering Challenge (SEC) - a nationally recognised initiative within the National STEM Outreach Program.

**Your role**
This diverse and rewarding role will have you supporting multiple team members and committees nationwide. Key responsibilities include:
- ** Event Coordination**: Liaise with regional organising committees to plan and execute successful SEC events.
- ** Documentation and Logistics**: Prepare and distribute event materials and coordinate travel and accommodation for the team.
- ** Equipment Management**: Maintain, prepare, and repair STEM activity kits for events.
- ** Event Delivery**: Assist with organisation and setup of ‘Challenge Days’ for students in Years 9-10, ensuring safety and smooth operations, training staff nationwide.
- ** A sub role within the Engagement (social media etc) or Activity Development units of the program**

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives on creating seamless event experiences. Your skills include:
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Practical problem-solving and adaptability to manage logistics and dynamic events.
- A passion for education and engaging young minds with STEM.
Experience in event planning, social media, administration, or working in educational programs will be highly regarded.
