Our client is a growing insurance brokerage firm. They pride themselves on delivering a fantastic service to both their customers and clients which has resulted in continual growth.

They are located in North Sydney close to the train station and possess a supportive and busy culture. It is a great company to work for that is now looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to come on board and enjoy a permanent opportunity with the added bonus of working with a lovely group of people.

**The Role**:
This is a full-time permanent position. It is a hands-on role where your time will be spent performing the following duties:

- Full function AR
- Banking and receipting
- Allocating payments received
- Data entry of invoices
- Supporting a Credit Officer
- Managing refunds
- Answering phone enquiries

This is a newly created role that sits with the accounts team and reports to an experienced and supportive manager that is happy to mentor and train.

**Your Background**:

- A great attitude to learning and a willingness to work in a small office environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar AR position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must as you will be constantly liaising with brokers and other stakeholders.
- Intermediate excel skills (v look ups, sum, sort functions)

This role is suited to someone who wants to learn and stretch their skill set and develop professionally.
