**About the role**:
EG Australia is currently establishing the daily transactional operation activities of Transaction Services (namely Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Banking). This newly formed team will expand the AU Finance function and will seek to maximise efficiencies as we localise the 60,000 monthly transactions currently performed by EG Group Shared Services in the UK.

The Accounts Receivable Officer will ensure payments are received and accurately recorded enabling EG Australia to measure and manage the debts owed to the company by its customers.

**Key responsibilities...**
- Generating invoices
- Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoices
- Reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger, bank accounts, payments (including card payments, fuel cards, rebates against sales etc.)
- Liaise with clients to resolve any payment queries
- Support the month end process
- Report on Aged Receivables

**What we’re looking for**:

- Cert IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field OR comparable experience in a high volume Shared Service Centre
- Demonstrated experience in a high volume or multi-site Accounts Receivable functions
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to produce high quality work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (prior SAP experience is desirable)
