We are currently seeking workers to join us and provide excellent person-centered support services to our participants who live independently.
You will need to be available across a variety of shift times as the supports required vary each day and time.
We have work available across North and South Brisbane so flexibility to travel will be advantageous
**Duties include**:
Personal care-showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, medication administering and meal prep.
Light domestic assistance as required.
Social support-transportation, social activities, shopping, appointments
Supporting participants in using aids and equipment
Management of complex or challenging behaviors
Observing wellbeing, reporting their progress on shift notes
Attending staff meetings and training as required and keeping competencies up to date.
**What you need to apply**:
2-3 Years experience working as a Disability Support Worker working alongside participants with Acquired Brain Injuries - highly regarded
**Relevant qualifications**:
Current First Aid/CPR/ Police check
Current NDIS Worker screening clearance, quality and safeguards commission worker orientation module
Current Australian Driver's license registered and comprehensively insured.
Smartphone with Internet access
